Free limits or Free credits? 🧐

Free limits or Free credits? 🧐
“I really need to focus on Speaking… but I’ve already used up my Speaking limit for this week.” 🥲 With the current Free version, imagine a learner whose weakest skill is Speaking. If they have already used their one AI Live Speaking session for the week, they may still have three unused Writing Checks left — but they can’t use those Writing limits to practise Speaking again. They simply have to wait until the following week. That’s why we’re considering whether a Weekly Practice Credits system might give learners more flexibility. Of course, a credit system has its own downsides too. Some learners may feel anxious about spending their credits, save them instead of practising, or use everything too early and then have nothing left for the rest of the week. So we’d really like to know which system you would actually prefer to use. 🙏 🅰️ Option A - Weekly Free Limits Each Practice tool has its own separate free limit. For example, Speaking, Writing and Dictation would each have their own allowance. The advantage is that it encourages learners to try different types of Practice. The downside is that even if you still have unused Writing Checks, you cannot transfer them to Speaking. If your Speaking limit is already used up, you have to wait until the next week before practising Speaking again. 🅱️ Option B - Weekly Free Credits Every Free user receives a set number of Practice Credits each week. You decide where to spend them. If Speaking is your weakest skill, you can use more of your credits on Speaking. If you want to practise different skills, you can divide your credits however you like. The advantage is that you can prioritise the skills you actually need to improve. The downside is that you might hesitate to practise because you want to save your credits, or you could spend them all too early and have to wait for the next weekly refill. So which system do you think would give you more freedom and actually encourage you to practise more? 🙏 Comment A or B, and if possible, tell us why you chose it. We’ll take your feedback into account as we improve the Sakar Free Practice experience. ❤️ 🎁 As a small thank-you, learners who comment and share this post can receive a free 1-week study plan.
